Setting up New terminal
Dejavoo terminals allow credit card processing over an analog telephone line or an ethernet connection. You can use the terminal to accept swiped credit cards, EMV chip cards, and contactless payments. Note that depending on the model type the appearance of the terminal may change, but the setup process will remain the same.

The Dejavoo Z8 ships with a power adapter, telephone line cable, USB adapter cable, and roll of thermal paper, and optional Ethernet cable may be included.
Setup the Terminal
The credit card terminal needs an Ethernet or phone line connection to be able to communicate with the processor and run transactions. * Ethernet cable must be purchased separately.
WiFi Setup
Having Wi-Fi card machines solves a few practical problems within a business. Firstly a business can employ several card machines throughout the premises, but only one base station needs to be plugged in.
This results in less clutter through multiple wires as is often the case with stationary card machines. In order to get you terminal connect via WiFi just follow the instructions below:

Step 8 Select your secure wifi network Notes: The WiFi network must be a secure wifi network with a WPA2 encryption. All others secure and non-secure networks are not EMV compliant.(The Security indication will be located on the scan network page.) Also, Port# 7395 has to be open in order to establish a connection. |

Step 9 Select configure |

Step 10 Select set password |

Step 11 Enter the Wifi password and press the OK key. Note: When entering the wifi password and numbers or letters repeated please allow 2sec between entering the first character and the second character. |

Step 12 Press the red X key to return to wifi menu. |

Step 13 Select connect |

Step 14 Select YES to confirm connect with your wifi network |

Step 15 Once the terminal has connected to your wifi it will prompt connected and display the disconnect option. |

Step 16 Finally, Press the red X key until your back to the idle screen. Note: At this point, you may need to configure the primary connection type in the terminal for the quickest connection, and for the connection to work properly.
