The Dejavoo Z8 ships with a power adapter, telephone line cable, USB adapter cable, and roll of thermal paper, and optional Ethernet cable may be included.

Setup the Terminal

The credit card terminal needs an Ethernet or phone line connection to be able to communicate with the processor and run transactions. * Ethernet cable must be purchased separately.

Step 1:
Open the latch from the back left hand side of the terminal.

Step 2:
Connect an ethernet cable to the 'ETH' port OR the included telephone line cable to the phone port. Connect the power adapter to the rightmost top port
An Ethernet connection is recommended for faster transaction speed.
Route the wires under the latch and close the latch.
Plug the ethernet cable into a numbered port on the router OR connect the telephone cable to a wall jack. The telephone cable needs to be connected to an analog wall jack. It should use a dedicated line that is not shared with other devices.
Plug the power adapter into an outlet. The terminal boots up automatically.
Step 3

:
Once the terminal initializes the Credit | Sale screen should appear. The terminal is set up and ready to process a transaction.WiFi Setup
